Tzatziki Recipe Easy and Creamy Dip

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1/2 tsp table salt
  • 350 g Greek yoghurt
  • 1 garlic clove peeled and crushed
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh mint finely chopped
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

Instructions
 

  • Grate the cucumber and place it in a sieve over a bowl.
  • Sprinkle with salt, mix lightly, and leave for 10 minutes to release excess water.
  • Discard the liquid and transfer the cucumber to a bowl.
  • Add yoghurt, garlic, olive oil, dill, mint, and lemon juice.
  • Mix well until smooth and creamy.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
