Mix gently with your hands until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
Divide the mixture into four equal portions and form into burger patties.
Preheat your grill to 300°F (150°C).
Lightly spray the grill grates with olive oil to help prevent sticking.
Place the patties on the grill and cook for approximately 30 minutes, turning once halfway through cooking.
Cook until the Spicy Turkey Burgers reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
If using cheese, place a slice of sharp cheddar on each burger about 5 minutes before cooking is complete.
Remove from the grill and allow the burgers to rest for a few minutes.
Serve on toasted buns with green chile aioli and your favorite toppings.
