Sheet Pan Sausage and Peppers is an easy one pan meal with halal Italian-style sausage, bell peppers, and onions.

Ingredients
  

  • 19- ounce package halal beef or chicken Italian-style sausage links 5 links
  • 2 red bell peppers sliced
  • 2 green bell peppers sliced
  • 2 yellow onions sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh basil leaves optional

For Serving (Optional)

  • Marinara sauce

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Arrange the halal Italian-style sausage links, sliced bell peppers, and onions on a large sheet pan.
  • Drizzle with olive oil.
  • Sprinkle evenly with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  • Toss the vegetables until evenly coated while keeping the sausages directly against the baking sheet.
  • Bake the Sheet Pan Sausage and Peppers for 20 minutes.
  • Turn the sausages over and continue baking for 10–15 minutes until browned and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • Remove from the oven and let everything rest for 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
  • Serve warm with marinara sauce, crusty bread, pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.

Notes

  • Substitute turkey or chicken Italian-style sausage if preferred.
  • Add sliced mushrooms for extra heartiness.
  • Serve over pasta, rice, creamy polenta, or inside toasted rolls.
  • Sprinkle with grated Parmesan-style halal cheese if desired.
