Savoury Spiced Nuts (Roasted)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 1 cup raw peanuts
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 Tbsp smoked paprika
  • tsp chili powder
  • tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp coconut sugar or brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  • Add the raw almonds, cashews, and peanuts to a large mixing bowl.
  • In a small bowl, combine the smoked paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, sugar, salt, and black pepper.
  • In another small bowl, whisk the egg white until frothy.
  • Pour the egg white over the nuts and toss until evenly coated.
  • Sprinkle the spice mixture over the nuts and toss again until fully coated.
  • Spread the savoury spiced nuts in an even layer on a lined baking sheet.
  • Roast for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through for even roasting.
  • Remove from the oven and allow the nuts to cool completely for at least 20 minutes. They will crisp up as they cool.
