Ingredients

The Spice Blend

  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¾ teaspoon fine salt
  • teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

The Chicken

  • 2 teaspoons avocado oil
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 415°F (213°C).
  • Slice each chicken breast horizontally into thin, even cutlets. Thin pieces cook faster and stay exceptionally juicy.
  • Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  • In a small bowl, combine the paprika, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, brown sugar, and cornstarch.
  • Place the chicken in a large bowl and sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over each piece.
  • Add the avocado oil and toss until every piece is thoroughly coated.
  • Arrange the chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each piece for proper air circulation.
  • Cook the Ridiculously Good Air Fryer Chicken Breast for 10 minutes. Larger pieces may require 12–13 minutes.
  • Check that the thickest part reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce or side dishes.

Notes

  • Chicken thighs can be substituted, but cooking time may increase slightly.
  • Pair with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, rice, quinoa, or a fresh salad.
  • Serve with ranch dressing, garlic aioli, honey mustard, barbecue sauce, or a spicy gochujang dipping sauce.
