  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • 4 tilapia fillets
  • Olive oil for coating

  • In a shallow dish, whisk together the grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Lightly coat each tilapia fillet with olive oil.
  • Press each oiled fillet firmly into the Parmesan mixture, coating the top and sides as evenly as possible.
  • Arrange the coated fillets on the prepared baking sheet with space between each piece.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the Parmesan crust is lightly golden.
  • Let the fillets rest for a minute or two before serving. Serve warm with your favorite vegetables, salad, rice, or roasted potatoes.

Notes

For a lighter meal, serve the baked tilapia with a green salad, steamed broccoli, green beans, or roasted vegetables.
For a heartier dinner, pair the fish with rice, mashed potatoes, roasted potatoes, or a simple pasta dish.
You can also add a little lemon zest to the Parmesan mixture for extra freshness. If fresh parsley is unavailable, dried parsley can be used in a smaller amount.
