Ingredients

  • 4 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 8 ounces angel hair pasta
  • ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and chicken stock. Stir well and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  • Add the angel hair pasta to the skillet. If necessary, break the pasta in half so it fits comfortably in the pan.
  • Press the pasta into the liquid until fully submerged.
  • Cover the skillet and cook for approximately 7 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
  • If the pasta absorbs too much liquid before it finishes cooking, add a small amount of additional stock as needed.
  • Once the pasta is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed, remove the skillet from the heat.
  • Stir in the freshly grated parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Garnish the One Pot Garlic Parmesan Pasta with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Fresh parsley adds brightness and color but can be replaced with basil.
  • For a richer sauce, add an extra tablespoon of parmesan cheese.
  • A pinch of red pepper flakes adds a gentle kick of heat.
  • Serve with garlic bread, roasted vegetables, or a simple green salad.
