Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Pour in the heavy cream and chicken stock. Stir well and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
Add the angel hair pasta to the skillet. If necessary, break the pasta in half so it fits comfortably in the pan.
Press the pasta into the liquid until fully submerged.
Cover the skillet and cook for approximately 7 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
If the pasta absorbs too much liquid before it finishes cooking, add a small amount of additional stock as needed.
Once the pasta is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed, remove the skillet from the heat.
Stir in the freshly grated parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
