Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (6–7 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon halal-certified Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Chopped fresh parsley optional
  • Extra Parmesan shavings optional

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, grated Parmesan, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. If they are especially thick, gently pound them to an even thickness so they cook more uniformly.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the chicken breasts and cook for approximately 6–7 minutes on each side, adjusting the heat as necessary, until golden and the thickest part reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Reduce the heat to low. Spoon some of the creamy sauce over the chicken, cover the skillet, and warm briefly until the topping is hot.
  • Remove from the heat and serve the Melt In Your Mouth Caesar Chicken with additional Caesar sauce as desired.
  • Finish with Parmesan shavings and chopped fresh parsley.
  • Serve immediately with salad, vegetables, potatoes, rice, or garlic bread.

Notes

This skillet chicken recipe pairs beautifully with roasted potatoes, steamed broccoli, green beans, rice, pasta, or a crisp Caesar-style salad.
For additional texture, sprinkle the finished Parmesan chicken with freshly grated Parmesan and chopped parsley just before serving. A squeeze of fresh lemon juice can also brighten the creamy flavors.
Chicken thighs can be substituted for chicken breasts. Cooking time will vary according to their size and thickness, so cook poultry to a safe internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
