Preheat the oven according to the package directions for the frozen hash brown patties. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the patties in a single layer.
Lightly spray the hash browns with cooking spray and season them with salt. Bake according to the package directions, flipping halfway through cooking.
About 3 minutes before the hash browns are finished, carefully remove the baking sheet and place it on a wire rack.
Sprinkle each patty with some shredded aged cheddar and add one or two slices of jalapeño. Avoid adding too much cheese so the patties remain crisp around the edges.
Return the baking sheet to the oven and cook for the remaining time, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
Remove the crispy loaded hash browns from the oven and place them on a wire rack briefly.
Add a dollop or drizzle of sour cream to each patty, followed by your favorite salsa verde.
Sprinkle the diced red onion, sliced green onion, and diced grape tomatoes over the top.
Serve immediately while the hash browns are hot and crisp.
