Ingredients

Chicken

  • 2 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon spicy smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour

Sauce

  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup sriracha
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Chinese 5 spice
  • 4 garlic cloves grated
  • 2- inch ginger grated

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 450°F (220°C). Grease a baking tray lightly with oil.
  • Add the chicken pieces to the tray. Sprinkle smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt over the chicken. Toss well until evenly coated.
  • Sprinkle the flour over the chicken and mix again until all pieces are lightly coated. Arrange the chicken in a single layer and spray lightly with oil.
  • Bake for 15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the Honey Sriracha Chicken sauce. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine butter, honey, sriracha, lime juice, soy sauce, grated garlic, ginger, and Chinese 5 spice. Stir until the butter melts and the sauce becomes smooth.
  • Remove the chicken from the oven and pour the sauce over the chicken pieces. Toss carefully until evenly coated.
  • Return the tray to the oven and bake for another 10 minutes, or until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken beautifully.
  • Serve immediately with rice, quinoa, or steamed vegetables.

Notes

  • Serve Honey Sriracha Chicken with jasmine rice, fried rice, or noodles.
  • Add broccoli, snap peas, or carrots for a complete meal.
  • For extra sweetness, drizzle with additional honey before serving.
  • You can substitute chicken breast if preferred, but thighs stay juicier.
