Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
Pat the cod fillets thoroughly dry with paper towels.
Arrange the fish in a single layer in a baking dish or on a suitable baking pan.
If your pan is not nonstick, lightly coat it with olive oil to help prevent sticking.
Spoon approximately 2 tablespoons of honey garlic sauce over each piece of cod, spreading the glaze evenly over the surface.
Bake for approximately 8–15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets.
Near the end of cooking, switch the oven to the high broil setting.
Broil for about 60 seconds, watching carefully, until the sauce is bubbling and lightly caramelized.
The Honey Garlic Baked Cod is ready when the thickest part reaches 145°F (63°C).
Remove from the oven and serve immediately with your preferred side dishes.
