Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup cane sugar or granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 9 grams mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • In a medium bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add vanilla extract, almond milk, vegetable oil, and eggs. Whisk until the brownie batter is smooth and fully combined.
  • Lightly spray an 8x8-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Pour the almond flour brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle mini chocolate chips over the top.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until the center is set.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for at least 30 minutes before slicing into squares.
  • Slice into 16 smaller brownies or larger portions if preferred.

Notes

  • These almond flour brownies taste delicious served with fresh berries or a drizzle of melted dark chocolate.
  • You can use dairy-free chocolate chips to keep the recipe fully dairy-free.
  • For larger bakery-style brownies, slice into 9 squares instead of 16.
