  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 onion thinly sliced
  • 6 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 300 g dried spaghetti
  • ⅓ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

For Serving

  • Extra grated Parmesan
  • Chopped fresh parsley
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, paprika, and oregano until evenly coated.
  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook the chicken for 5–6 minutes, stirring frequently, until golden and fully cooked. Transfer to a plate.
  • Melt the butter in the same pan.
  • Add the sliced onion and cook for 2–3 minutes until softened.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and parsley, then cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken stock and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Add the spaghetti, ensuring it is mostly submerged in the broth.
  • Cover and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan until smooth.
  • Return the cooked chicken to the pan and cook for another 2–3 minutes until heated through.
  • Serve the Garlic Butter Chicken Pasta topped with extra Parmesan, parsley, and freshly cracked black pepper.

Notes

  • Replace heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
  • Add crushed red pepper flakes for extra heat.
  • Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for added brightness.
  • Pair with garlic bread or a crisp green salad.
