Ingredients
  

  • 1 15-ounce can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • Extra virgin olive oil spray
  • 1 teaspoon dried spices of your choice:
  • Cajun seasoning
  • Garlic salt
  • Blackened seasoning
  • Montreal steak seasoning
  • Za'atar
  • Or your favorite spice blend

Instructions
 

  • Drain and rinse the chickpeas thoroughly.
  • Transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels.
  • Gently pat dry and allow the chickpeas to air dry completely for the best crunch.
  • Place the chickpeas in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Air fry at 380°F (193°C) for 12–15 minutes.
  • Shake the basket every 5 minutes to ensure even cooking.
  • Continue cooking until the Crispy Air Fryer Chickpeas are golden brown and crunchy throughout.
  • Transfer the hot chickpeas to a medium bowl.
  • Lightly spritz with olive oil spray.
  • Immediately toss with your chosen seasoning.
  • Serve at room temperature as a snack or sprinkle over salads, soups, and grain bowls.

  • Use low-sodium chickpeas if preferred.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • Add a pinch of cayenne pepper for extra heat.
