Cook pasta in well-salted boiling water. Reserve 1 cup pasta water before draining.
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Season shrimp lightly with salt and pepper.
Sear shrimp for 1 minute per side until just cooked. Remove and set aside.
Lower heat to medium. Add butter, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Cook briefly until fragrant.
Pour in cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
Stir in parmesan gradually, allowing it to melt smoothly.
Add ¼ cup pasta water and simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Stir in lemon juice quickly.
Add cooked pasta and toss well in the sauce. Let it simmer for 1–2 minutes.
Add parsley and shrimp, tossing gently to combine.
