Crab Bombs – Quick & Irresistible in 15 Minutes

Quick and easy Crab Bombs made with lump crab meat and Old Bay seasoning.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup lump crab meat picked through for shell pieces
  • ¼ cup full-fat mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard or yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg lightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the lump crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper.
  • Stir gently until evenly mixed.
  • Fold in the Panko breadcrumbs and lightly beaten egg. Avoid overmixing to keep the crab meat tender.
  • Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized portions and place them on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  • Brush each ball with melted butter.
  • Bake the Crab Bombs for 15 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through.
  • Serve immediately with lemon wedges or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Fresh lump crab meat creates the best texture.
  • Canned crab can be used if well drained.
  • Serve alongside a fresh salad or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
