Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 2 tablespoons of pasta water, then drain.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add chicken and garlic, cooking for 5–6 minutes until lightly browned.
Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Remove excess liquid if needed.
Add pasta sauce and parmesan cheese, mixing well.
Add cooked pasta and reserved pasta water to the skillet and toss to combine.
Top with mozzarella cheese, cover, and let it melt for 1–2 minutes.
Garnish with basil, red pepper flakes, and extra parmesan before serving.
