Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked pasta rotini or penne
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast diced or shredded
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce chopped
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes halved (optional)
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/2 cup croutons roughly crushed
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or basil for garnish optional

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente, about 8–10 minutes.
  • Drain the pasta and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.
  • Allow the pasta to cool completely and drain well.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, cooked chicken, chopped romaine lettuce, and cherry tomatoes.
  • Pour the Caesar dressing over the mixture.
  • Gently toss until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  • Add the Parmesan cheese and mix well.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • For the best Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad texture, sprinkle the crushed croutons over the top just before serving.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley or basil if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Swap chicken breast with grilled chicken thighs for a richer flavor.
  • Cherry tomatoes can be omitted if preferred.
  • Add cucumber, red onion, or avocado for extra freshness.
  • Serve alongside garlic bread, soup, or fresh fruit.
  • For a lighter version, use a reduced-fat Caesar dressing.
