Cheesy Garlic Herb Butter Rolls

Ingredients
  

Dough

  • 1 cup warm water 110°F / 43°C
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 –3 1/4 cups bread flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt

Garlic Butter Filling

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
  • 6 –8 garlic cloves grated
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese blend

Garlic Butter Topping

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions
 

  • In a mixer bowl, combine warm water, honey, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  • Add melted butter, oregano, thyme, rosemary, and garlic powder. Mix well.
  • Add 2 cups flour and salt. Mix on low for 2 minutes.
  • Add remaining flour gradually until dough forms a soft ball. Knead for 5 minutes.
  • Grease bowl, cover, and let dough rise for 2 hours until doubled.
  • Roll dough into an 18×12 rectangle.
  • Mix butter, garlic, and salt for filling, then spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle cheese over dough.
  • Cut into 12 strips, roll each, and place in greased baking dish.
  • Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Bake for 28–33 minutes until golden.
  • Brush with garlic butter topping and serve warm.

Notes

  • Substitute parmesan with cheddar or mozzarella
  • Add chili flakes for a spicy twist
  • Serve with soups, pasta, or grilled chicken
  • Best enjoyed fresh and warm
