Ingredients
  

For the Cheeseburgers

  • 2 lbs lean ground beef 85%
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ white onion diced
  • 12 slider-sized Hawaiian rolls
  • 12 cheese snack bars

For the Glaze (Optional)

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Press the seasoned beef evenly into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, then drain excess liquid.
  • Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally and place the bottom half in a lined baking pan.
  • Add the cooked beef layer evenly over the rolls.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet, sauté diced onions until soft and translucent.
  • Spread onions over the beef, then add cheese slices.
  • Place the top half of the rolls over the sliders.
  • Mix all glaze ingredients in a bowl and brush generously over the rolls.
  • Bake for another 20 minutes until golden and melty.
