Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3–5 minutes).
  • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually mix dry ingredients into the butter mixture.
  • Fold in blueberries, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing evenly.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  • Let cool, then dust with powdered sugar if desired.
