Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
In a shallow bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, and melted butter. Reserve the minced garlic for later.
In another shallow dish, combine the flour, coriander, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels.
Dip each fillet into the lemon mixture, then coat it in the seasoned flour mixture. Shake off any excess flour.
Reserve the remaining lemon mixture.
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the cod for about 2 minutes per side until lightly golden. Do not cook it completely.
Stir the minced garlic into the reserved lemon mixture and drizzle it evenly over the fish.
Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake the Baked Cod Recipe with Lemon and Garlic for about 8–10 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
