Ingredients

For the Salmon

  • 4 salmon fillets 4 oz / 115 g each
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste

For the Garlic Butter Lemon Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry using paper towels.
  • Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  • Arrange the fillets in a single layer inside the air fryer basket, leaving space between each piece.
  • Cook the Air Fryer Salmon at 400°F (200°C) for 8–10 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. For thicker fillets, cook an additional 2–3 minutes if needed.
  • Carefully remove the salmon from the basket and set aside.
  • Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in the fresh lemon juice and remove from the heat.
  • Spoon the garlic butter lemon sauce generously over the salmon before serving.

Notes

  • Unsalted butter lets you control the seasoning.
  • Add a pinch of paprika or Cajun seasoning for extra flavor.
  • Lime juice can replace lemon juice if desired.
  • Serve with asparagus, broccoli, quinoa, or garlic rice.
