Ingredients
  

  • 8 chicken drumsticks skin on
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil divided
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions
 

  • Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels.
  • Coat the drumsticks with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
  • In a small bowl, combine baking powder, black pepper, garlic powder, kosher salt, and paprika.
  • Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the chicken and toss until evenly coated.
  • Brush the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over the seasoned drumsticks.
  • Arrange the Air Fryer Chicken Drumsticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding.
  • Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 10 minutes.
  • Flip the drumsticks and cook for another 10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Notes

  • Serve with roasted vegetables, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
  • Add your favorite dipping sauces such as ranch, honey mustard, or barbecue sauce.
  • Chicken thighs or wings can be substituted using similar seasoning blends with adjusted cooking times.
