Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced potatoes with 1 crushed garlic clove, 1 teaspoon smoked paprika, half of the chili flakes, half of the salt, half of the black pepper, and 1 tablespoon olive oil. Toss until evenly coated.
Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket in an even layer.
Air fry for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking.
While the potatoes cook, add the chicken pieces to the same mixing bowl.
Add the remaining garlic, smoked paprika, chili flakes, salt, black pepper, thyme, and olive oil. Toss until the chicken is well coated.
After the potatoes have cooked for 10 minutes, remove the basket and carefully move the potatoes to one side.
Add the seasoned chicken to the empty side of the basket.
Return the basket to the air fryer and cook for an additional 10 minutes, flipping both the chicken and potatoes halfway through.
Check the internal temperature of the chicken. It should reach 165°F (75°C).
Once fully cooked, remove the Air Fryer Chicken and Potatoes from the basket.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.
