Agua Frescas Recipe

Refreshing homemade agua frescas made with fresh fruit, lime juice, water, and sugar.
Easy Mexican-inspired drinks perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients
  

Strawberry Agua Fresca

  • 3 cups roughly chopped strawberries
  • 2 cups water
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Cucumber Agua Fresca

  • ¾ English cucumber cut into large chunks
  • 3 cups water
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Watermelon Agua Fresca

  • 3 cups roughly chopped watermelon
  • 2 cups water
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Pineapple Agua Fresca

  • 2 ½ cups roughly chopped pineapple
  • 2 ¼ cups water
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Mango Agua Fresca

  • 1 cup roughly chopped mango
  • 3 cups water
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Instructions
 

  • Wash and prepare all fruit by chopping into large pieces.
  • For each Agua Frescas Recipe flavor, add the fruit, water, lime juice, and sugar to a blender.
  • Blend until completely smooth and refreshing.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  • Pour over ice and serve immediately.
  • Alternatively, transfer to a sealed container and refrigerate for up to 3 days.

Notes

  • Fresh lime juice gives the best flavor.
  • Serve with fresh fruit slices for presentation.
  • Reduce sugar for a lighter version.
  • Mix flavors together for unique combinations.
