3 Ingredient One Pot Pasta Easy Dinner

Quick one pot pasta with only 3 ingredients

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound lean ground beef or turkey
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 jar about 25 oz marinara sauce
  • 12 ounces pasta rotini, rigatoni, or farfalle
  • Optional: grated parmesan cheese fresh basil leaves

Instructions
 

  • Heat a large pot over medium-high heat. Add ground beef or turkey and cook until browned, about 6 minutes. Break into small pieces and add salt.
  • Reduce heat to medium and stir in marinara sauce. Fill the empty jar with about 3 cups water and add it to the pot.
  • Add pasta and stir well to combine.
  • Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Add 1 more cup of water and continue cooking until pasta is tender, about 15 more minutes.
  • Garnish with parmesan and basil if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can add vegetables like spinach or zucchini for extra nutrition.
  • Serve with a simple side salad or bread.
